Jason Christopher

Jason J. Christopher, P.E., ENV SP

Jason has over 17 years of progressive project management and engineering experience in minor and major highways, interchange design, limited access toll facilities, express lanes facilities, new alignments, capacity improvements, and All Electronic Toll (AET) conversions. His project expertise includes PD&E, RRR projects, ERCARs, Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, technical proposals, and Public Private Partnerships with roadway and drainage design, pavement design, typical section packages, design exceptions and variations, Temporary Traffic Control Plans, quantities, and cost estimates. Jason was the GEC Project Manager on FDOT’s pilot project with S&S 3D deliverables and NexGEN Plans and has presented at the 2019 IHEEP Conference, 2020/21 FDOT Symposiums, and 2021 Conference. Jason likes the movies and improving his community

Richard Ramoutar

Richard K. Ramoutar, P.E.

Richard has 17 years of stormwater and drainage systems analysis, design and studies, roadway design, environmental resource permitting, construction administration, and quality assurance management experience in FDOT Districts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 & 7, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, Central Florida Expressway Authority, and Florida cities, counties and municipalities. Richard has provided engineering services as Engineer of Record, and senior project engineer (Roadway and Drainage) in prime and sub-consultant roles on a variety of roadway and site development projects, including minor and major highways, interchanges, limited access, toll, and express lanes, All Electronic Toll conversions, capacity improvements, sidewalks & multi-use trails, solar farms, utility stations, stadiums, performing arts centers, academic campuses, government buildings, and commercial developments. Richard enjoys kayaking, sports, and long drives.

Anil Sharma

Anil J. Sharma, P.E.

Anil is a Senior Project Manager with more than 18 years of experience, including project management at FTE and design. Anil has extensive experience in PD&E and design project management; Anil has more than 17 years of project management and design experience on several high-profile Florida projects, including Suncoast Parkway-II, All Aboard Florida (AAF), Florida High-Speed Rail (HSR) System, Wekiva Parkway, I-95 Widening, and Design-Build and Florida’s Turnpike Widening. His experience includes PD&E project management and design, major highway improvement projects, toll roads, interstate systems, urban highway reconstruction, and rehabilitation, service and system interchanges, arterial streets and intersections, concept development, alternatives analysis, final design, and agency coordination. Anil enjoys hiking, family vacations, and pickleball.

Christopher Karmeris

Christopher L. Karmeris, P.E.

Christopher is a highly skilled project manager and engineer with over a decade of diverse design experience in civil engineering. He has specialized in various disciplines, including ITS, Lighting, Signals, SaPM, Railways, Roadway, and Roadway Characteristics Inventory. Christopher has a strong focus on enhancing safety measures and has made significant contributions to numerous design and construction management projects for reputable organizations such as FDOT Districts 2 and 5, FDOT Central Office, Jacksonville Transit Authority, City of Gainesville, Alachua County, Osceola County, Reedy Creek Improvement District, Brightline, and SunRail.

Christopher's expertise lies in implementing cutting-edge ITS and Rail Safety solutions. His previous roles as a Roadway Designer, Safety and Security Coordinator, and ITS and Lighting Engineer have provided him with a wealth of knowledge. He has successfully incorporated enhanced pavement markings and delineators at Higher Speed and Commuter Rail Grade Crossings, developed stand-alone and integrated ITS solutions to improve driver safety, and upgraded ITS infrastructure to support bus rapid transit systems and state-of-the-art bus shelters. Christopher's expertise also extends to the planning and constructing of signalized intersections and smart signal enhancements. Additionally, his focus on pedestrian safety is evident through his involvement in designing and managing new lighting infrastructure aligned with the Vision Zero initiative. Christopher enjoys various hobbies outside of work, including watching movies, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
